The company has now unveiled its 2021 Toyota Prius (2020) limited edition to celebrate this tremendous achievement and will only produce 2,020 units of this special model.

While some critics are still questioning if Nigeria is ready for electric cars or not, nations like the United States are already enjoying the benefits of all-electric cars from companies like Tesla. These countries are also making the best use of the hybrid car technology which Japanese automaker, Toyota currently excels at. The new 2021 Prius limited edition now marks 20 complete years since Toyota has introduced the hybrid car model to the U.S and has since been supplying the nation.
This is another remarkable achievement on the automaker’s side just after it recently announced recently that Toyota cars will soon be able to shut off their engines and go into park mode automatically.
According to reports, the new limited edition 2021 Toyota Prius comes with the XLE FWD at basic trim and will be offered in Wind Chill Pearl or Supersonic Red paint options. The exterior of this special edition Prius is beautifully dressed up with black trim, even on the mirror caps and B-pillars as well. It also comes with a rear spoiler that bears the same paint color as the body of the car, and to crown it all, the sporty car rides on 17-inches wheels with 5 strong black spokes.

Toyota says this special Prius model will be unveiled in a Livestream on Monday the 18th of May 2020.
