Just recently, McLaren Automotive decided to unveil its latest roadster, the GT (Grand Tourer). It's pretty much based on the very limited-edition Speedtail. This new and hot Superlight GT draws its power from a V8 twin-turbocharged 4.0L engine that produces 600hp. The engine is then mated to a powerful seven-speed SSG transmission which helps deliver a linear, relentless, and seamless acceleration from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.2 secs and 124 mph in 9 seconds. And overall, it has a 203-mph top speed.
The New McLaren GT: New Rules
Deliveries of this new Supercar is geared towards the end of 2019 with an expected starting price of ₦71.8 million ($200,000).
McLaren claims that its Superlight McLaren GT is going to be a direct rival to other supercars like the Porsche 911 Turbo S, Ferrari Portofino, and Aston Martin DB11 V8.
