Mercedes-Benz to reveal its all-new 2019 G-Glass interior

Explore the Mercedes-Benz G-Class 2019 with its completely new cabin.

The German manufacturer is busy producing an all-new generation G-Class in preparation for its debut in the 2018 North American International Auto Show. Last month, Mercedes-Benz was spotted testing some G-Class’s production parts; the firm has now disclosed the G-Wagon’s interior images before its global launch next month. Based on those images, the 2019 Mercedes-Benz G-Class is found being a slightly bigger, more well-equipped, and integrated a whole new cabin. It is expected that the all-new model will be far more loaded than its previous generation models.

The Mercedes-Benz G-Class is highly appreciated as the best luxury off-road car. The horse is by far the best passenger vehicle with the longest production time in the Mercedes-Benz’s history. What’s more, it also is the ancestor of all Mercedes SUV models. In 2016 alone, the German auto brand had 20,000 G-Class models sold across the globe.  

On the inside, the G-Class continues the styling trends from the exterior. For example, the round headlamp is reflected in the air vents or loudspeaker’s shape is similar to the indicators. What’s more, the car features the chrome-highlighted switches for the differential locks and the grab handle in front of the front passenger.

Furthermore, on the steering wheel, the Touch Control Buttons will respond when swiped. Drivers are able to control the touchpad while focusing on driving. Moreover, it makes it easier for drivers to operate the car by shortcut keys in front of the controller and the driving assistance systems on the top of the rotary light switch.

In addition, the G-Class comes with the standard seats featuring many convenience functions, namely the Memory function for the driver seat, headrest adjustment on the luxury package and front and rear seat heating. Besides, the active multi-contour seat and the seat cushion are covered with air chambers.
