Luxury auto brands are in for a shocker from Mercedes as the automaker has just given us a glimpse of its EQ Concept interior, and it is a whole new level of luxury.
There are speculations that the EQ mirrors the automaker’s flagship brand the EQS – an electric Sedan that is very luxurious. While opinions might differ on the general appeal of the car, everyone seems to agree that the cabin is futuristic.
There is room for lounging in the four comfy seats created on a smooth floor divided by a tunnel in the center, flowing through the dashboard down to the screen in the rear.
The four seats are so comfortable for lounging
In a Facebook post, Mercedes says that the EQ tale is unfolding. According to them, “we’re pioneering the future of sustainable modern luxury. See the interior design vision of an all-electric four seater luxury sedan.”

With such a design, the future of modern luxury looks very bright. Right on the dashboard is a massive display centerpiece that protrudes from the tunnel, serving as an interface between the vehicle and the driver. Each of the doors has four smaller displays that give passengers the opportunity to control content on the multimedia.
The rough design of the EQ concept
The EQ offers a butterfly-shaped steering wheel that retracts upon engaging autonomous mode. The front seats are flexible enough to adjust into the rear area, creating a setting for relaxation. Passengers can see themselves face to face, and carry on with their conversations while the car drives away.
Looks like we can take a ride into future with this cabin!
On the exterior, we see a coupe silhouette four-door ride that has a rakish-looking windscreen. From all indications, the EQS will offer no fewer than double electric motors along with a joint output exceeding 592 hp in its anticipated AMG variant.
