The long-awaited price of the new Mercedes-AMG GT 53 4-Door which debutted at last year's Geneva auto show price has been announced.
Unlike the most sturdy GT 63 model which’s price begins from $137,495 (~N49.8 million) and the big wheel GT 63 S which also goes for $159,995 (~N58 million), the 2019 Mercedes-AMG GT 53 4-Door Coupe will be going for an affordable price. New Benz cars have traditionally always been for the rich although there are affordable Benz cars in Nigeria.

Mercedes reduced the pricing of her Mercedes-AMG GT 53 4-Door Coupe to as low as $99,000. Added to a destination and delivery charge of about $995 making it a total of $99,995, translating to N36.2 million.
Many fans of the 4-Door Coupe latest model are excited about the affordable price of this automobile because they will have a chance to own a wheel in the 4-Door Coupe clan.
The German luxury brand who made this announcement on Thursday is making the auto affordable for those who couldn't afford the AMG GT 63 and AMG GT 63 S; we can't still ignore the fact that these models are more classic and superior in both engine and speed to the AMG GT 53.
The Mercedes AMG GT 53 will have a turbocharged inline-six assisted by a 48-volt electric motor to produce a maximum of 429 hp. It is also energized by an AMG-enhanced 3.0-liter inline-6 turbo engine with EQ Boost and Electric Auxiliary Compressor. This atomic power plant produces 429 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque.

The GT 53 also have some conventional qualities includes navigation, electronically deployable rear spoiler, a sports suspension with adaptive adjustable damping and a Burmester sound system.
It also noticed that the engine of the AMG GT 53 is coordinated to a nine-speed transmission and an AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system. These enabling the car to move from about 62 miles per hour in just 4.4 seconds before heading to a top speed of 174 mph which is restricted. Not bad for a $99,000 Mercedes 4 Door Coupe.
If you want something higher, you can always go for the powerful GT 63 S and GT 63 which has a top speed of 195 mph and 193 mph respectively.
