Lexus has added a new Premium Sport Edition NX hybrid SUV to its lineup. It is unapologetically stylish both on the exterior and interior.

Automakers are churning out new-releases this year like they are in competition to outdo each other, which they, come to think of it. Not lagging in the race, Lexus has produced a new addition to its popular NX Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) midsized category. The new model is a Premium Sport Edition (PSE) with features that distinguish it from other cars in its segment.

The Lexus Premium Sport Edition NX hybrid SUV looks easy on the eye

The first thing that comes to mind when you set your eyes on the Premium Sport Edition is that it is unarguably stylish. This comes as no surprise because Lexus itself is the luxury arm of Toyota.

Let us take a moment to savor the external appearance of the PSE. The finishing of its spindle grille is in black. The same goes for its bumper in the lower rear area and the mirror casings on the door. Although it belongs to the NX family, the PSE creates its own unique identity, adorning alloy wheels measuring 18 inches.

Moving to the interior, there is a lot to talk about the premium model. Its infotainment screen measuring 10.3 inches is hard to miss as it is visibly placed on the dashboard. It is well-complemented with an audio system that has a DVD player. Driving the car is made more fun as the driver has total control – thanks to the power steering with wheel adjustments. Averting road crashes is made easier with the inclusion of a blind spot monitoring system. You get to see vehicles and objects that are behind the blind spots.

The Premium Sport Edition NX hybrid SUV offers a blue option

There is an upgraded option for users – the NX Premium. It offers additional keyless entry, power tailgate, smartphone charger (wireless), and hand-crafted leather upholstery among other things.

With a 300h powertrain, the PSE is a hybrid charged for the road. When its petrol engine is in use, its 2.4 liters tank is sufficient for a long ride. The result of both the electric motor and petrol engine is 19bhp.

The starting sale price of the Lexus Premium Sport Edition is £38,830 (₦15.7 million).

The interior is exquisitely stylish
