Lamborghini has just unveiled the 2019 Lambo V12 Vision Gran Turismo Concept, ahead of the upcoming racing event at Monte-carlo in Monaco. See full details!

The first thing that comes to mind when you steal a glance at this new Lamborghini Lambo V12 Vision Gran Turismo is the image of a jet fighter. Describing it as stunning might be a bit underrating its flawless beauty. We doubt if this model will ever be allowed to be road legal based on its astonishing racing features. From what we learnt, it is created for the Grand Turismo racing tracks.

The stunning exterior design is a perfect blend of classic and future of racing beauty

The newly unveiled Lambo V12 Vision Gran Turismo recently made its first appearance prior to the upcoming World Finals of this year’s FIA Certified Gran Turismo Championship to be held in Monte Carlo Monaco this coming weekend. For game lovers, users will be allowed to have a virtual feel and experience of this concept model on the Gran Turismo Sport racing game for Play Station 4, set to be available from next year.

From report reaching us on Naijauto, this beautiful piece of a speed machine has come out in flying colours after various tests carried out on it such as speed limit test, crash-testing and emission standard test.

Exterior design and engine – Italian track perfection

All thanks to the Italian design studio of the company - Lamborghini Centro Stile in Sant’Agata Bolognese, responsible for the design of this one-seater beauty. The company utilized some exciting classic themes from its past design, acting as a single centerline focus in guiding its silhouette.

The 2019 Lambo V12 Vision Gran Turismo Concept offers taillights in Y-shape and a jet-like overall appearance

Its main body is separated from the fender with the availability of massive rear wing for optimal downforce. The company also utilized some features such as Y-signature front and rear cluster, and Y-taillights, well integrated into the design.

The V12 Vision Concept is not road legal as it is only created for Grand Turismo racing tracks

According to the car manufacturer, the side windows are inspired by hexagon, which is a clear representation and tribute to the vintage 1968 Lamborghini Marzal.

For its engine, it offers a V12 hybrid engine with an output of 819 horsepower in its modern Lamborghini Sian FKP 37 drivetrain.

Interior design - Jet-like entry and yolk-like steering wheel

For its cabin design, it comes fitted with every control being placed on the racing-style steering wheel. This design of its steering wheel looks more like a yoke with many knobs, buttons and fitted displays. The driver behind the wheel is expected to enjoy a more advanced driving experience with the presence of virtual display. The metrics and graphics will all be projected at the front, right over the top of the track. This will aid absolute concentration on the race ahead or racing line. This is indeed a big improvement on the traditional style of racing.

The driver will experience the future of racing, with the aid of virtual display placed in the front

On this concept track beast, racers will not access the inside by climbing into it through the side doors, but will clamber in at the front of the car more like a jet fighter pilot.

Just like jet fighter, the driver of this vision concept will access the cabin by clambering in at the front

It is an ideal platform for Lamborghini to test its new innovative ideas regardless of practicality or cost balances. It appears this could be a way of competing with rival brands. Just recently, the all new electric Jaguar Vision GT Coupe was unveiled by the company, which is expected to feature in Gran Turismo as well.

It appears most people will have to enjoy the gaming experience, which will made available starting from 2020 spring. The automaker is yet to decide if they are going to bring it into real life.
