After much delay, Genesis G70 has been launched in Australia in three different grades. Check its suggested retail price tags and two powertrain options below!

The Genesis G70 has finally made its appearance in the Australian market after much delay. We believe it's coming to rival the likes of the BMW 3 Series and the Mercedes C-Class sports sedans.

1. Genesis G70 engine options

The G70 is available in two engines: A 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder and a twin-turbocharged 3.3-liter V6 engine. The 2.0-liter engine produces 240 hp and 353 Nm (260 lb-ft) of torque while the 3.3- liter bumps out 364 hp, together with a torque of 510 Nm (376 lb-ft).

Naijauto learned the two engine options are offered in three model grades.

Genesis G70 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine options

  • 2.0 Ultimate

Genesis G70 3.3-liter V6 engine options

  • 3.3T Sport

  • 5-year subscription to 'Genesis to You' Service Valet and Genesis Connected Services

3. Genesis G70 noticeable features

All Genesis G70 models coming to Australia will be featuring as standard, Genesis Adaptive Control Suspension, Electronic Control Suspension, and Dynamic Stability Damping Control. The suspension was adjusted to run smoothly on local roads and it was based on comprehensive testing carried out by Genesis in Germany, Sweden, Korea, and the US for G70 models that were being sold globally.

All models are equipped with seven airbags as a standard feature. Also fitted into the models is Genesis Active Safety Control suite comprising of Driver Attention Warning, Blind-spot Collision Warning, lane-change oncoming function, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning system, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with pedestrian detection, Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Forward/Reverse Parking Distance Warning, Surround View Camera in ultimate badged models and Rear View Monitor parking guidance.
