Bugatti, the French automaker, is prepared to introduce a new thing this year at the Monterey Car Week this coming August. Reports reach Naijauto that a Bugatti Hypercar limited edition will be released. This is quite similar to Bugatti’s move last year when it unveiled the limited-edition Chiron-based Divo then months ago at this same event.
Despite the fact that the Bugatti Divo, twice the price of Chiron, was sold for ₦2 billion ($5.8m), with the purpose of conquering bends rather than speed, sold out before it was launched. 40 examples of those were produced.
At the Monterey Car Week this year, according to Bugatti’s spokesperson's interview with SupercarBlog, Bugatti will unveil a limited edition Hypercar, which is already believed to have sold out.

The spokesperson from Bugatti said:
“As our President, Stephan Winkelmann, has promised many times, we will have two novelties for our customers, fans and the media each year. The first one in 2019 was La Voiture Noire at Geneva International Motor Show in March, the second one will be shown at The Quail (one of several car shows held in Monterey during Car Week) in August. We won’t comment on the nature of this premiere, though, ahead of the unveiling.”
Just like the statement from the Bugatti’s spokesperson, the most expensive car in the world valued at $18m (₦6.6 billion), Bugatti La Voiture Noire, has just been revealed. The rumoured proud owner of this extremely expensive car, Juventus Superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo, will have to wait for 2 years and half before driving the car.

The upcoming Hypercar just like Divo might be based on the Chiron concept. The automaker, Bugatti, reportedly had less than 100 examples of Chiron left as of April 2019, out of the 500 originally planned run of production.
