Popular automaker Bugatti is rolling out the drums to celebrate her 110th year of being in the automotive business – a feet that’s worth the loudest of celebrations given the fierce competition in the industry. To make the grand occasion truly memorable, Bugatti has released a limited edition Chiron model.
The company’s Type 35 was unarguable its claim to fame far back in the 1920s. The Automobile Ettore has the coveted title of the most successful car in racing history. Ettore, together with his son, constructed a half-scale 35 type specially for his youngest son called Rowland in celebration of his fourth birthday. The birthday-gift car was initially meant to be a one-off, just as a present from father to son. But surprisingly, it received good feedback from numerous customers. Apparently, the car was too good to be a one-off. Identifying a good market opportunity, the company decided to grab the opportunity. And that gave birth to Bugatti’s official car. They went into massive production and sale of the car which lasted from 1927 to 1936.
