Bentley has celebrated its 100 remarkable years in July, 2019. And Mulliner is leaving no stone unturned as he has created an exceptional masterpiece, the Bentley Continental GT Number 9 Edition, to mark the event. This extraordinary car will be produced in 100 units only.
The Number 9 Edition was created to honor the proud racing culture Bentley boosts of, and also to the influential personalities significant in the company's history. The car summarizes Bentley's continuous quest to deliver matchless design and rousing driving experience for its customers.
The Continental GT Number 9 has a unique color which can hardly be found on other models
The Continental GT Limited Edition is fitted with some sets of interior and exterior designs culled from the Number 9 Blower, one of Bentley's most popular lineups. It was done to pay homage to the Number 9 Blower. Renowned as a record breaker, that captured the hearts of enthusiasts sending them thrilling in the 20s and 30s.
For each of the 100 Number 9 Edition to be produced, a rare material will be incorporated into it. It's a piece of Sir Tim Birkin's racing seat from his race car, 1930 Number 9 Le Mans race car.
The Number 9 Edition buyers will get to select any of these two luxurious paint colors, Beluga (black) and Viridian (green), with Mulliner creating the Viridian.
The unique car was unveiled with the Viridian color, representing the modern color version of the old racing green used on the old Number 9 Blower.
Each of these cars will be incorporated a piece of 1930 Number 9 Le Mans race car
The Beluga color is taking a different line, projecting deep luxurious black. The car's 22 wheels painted black matches the exterior colour. You can as well opt for a contrasting color with the Viridian.
Stamped on the Number 9 Edition's grille is a large 9 badge plated in 18-carat gold. And it showcases Mulliner's unique craft.
In the spirit of the 100 years celebration, the automaker opined that all Bentley 2019 models will have a special centenary badge to mark its milestone.
The interior is loyal to Bentley's typical arrangement with no outstanding upgrades
The price offering of the Number 9 Edition hasn't been made known to the public. The Continental GT Number 9 Edition will be making its first appearance at Geneva Motor Show.
