The body, chassis, and monocoque structure of the Essentia are all made of carbon fiber. Becoming the first all-battery-electric vehicle of Genesis, it is believed to have electric motors helping it to accelerate from rest to 60 mph in 3s though there’s still no word on the power.

Adorned with the classic Gran Turismo-style design with a low ground clearance and a long swept-back hood, the car earns an excellent look which can persuade any savvy customer to reach their wallets. A battery layout with an I-shaped set in the center tunnel in favor of underneath helps the distance from the roof to the ground measures only 50 inches. The butterfly doors add more luxury to the Essentia. Stepping inside, blue velvet dominates the back while in front it features brown leather seats. The interior also features aluminum trim and carbon fiber.

The question posed for car enthusiast is whether the Genesis Essentia still can afford a huge V12 of the auto manufacturer like any other GT or not. The answer for you is that the car may go with clear bodywork revealing the storage space, suspension components, and carbon-fiber chassis. There’s extra storage room in the rear; however, the motors are still yet to be unveiled. There likely will be set at the wheels as the Rimac Concept One does.

The car, as the carmaker claims, is made to minimize the car noise and make a strong bond between the driver and the car. Additionally, technologies used in the car is promised to enhance the occupants’ experience, including a smart nav system, extensive vehicle-to-infrastructure communications, and extensive vehicle-to-vehicle communications. Speaking of the smart nav system, it functions to set up the car automatically on preference of the driver’s style and choose lanes based on the driver inclination. However, one thing we are desperately looking forward to is the autonomous control and there’s no information about it so far.
