Engine and Performance

The 2022 Honda Civic Hatchback is offered in 4 trim levels, LX trim, EX-L trim, Sport trim and Sport Touring trim. Interestingly, with the 2022 Civic Hatchback, owners intending buyers will now have the option to choose from 2 engine displacement sizes. The engine options are the 1.5 Liter 4 cylinder Turbo engine and 2.0 Liter 4 cylinder engine. This is an upgrade from the 2021 Honda Civic hatchback which was offered with only the 1.5 Liter engine displacement size.

Other the other hand, intending buyers are also offered two different vehicle transmission options to pick from, a 6-speed manual transmission (optional in the Sport and Sport Touring Trim) and the CVT (Continuous Vehicle transmission) that comes standard across all 4 trims. Drivers of the 2022 offering of the Civic hatchback will now be able to call on a user-selectable Sport mode, along with the Eco and normal drive mode found on the 2021 Honda Civic hatchback.
