German automaker, Mercedes-AMG has added another model to its compact crossover lineup, the 2021 Mercedes-AMG GLA 45.
The 2021 Mercedes-AMG GLA 45 has a sporty look
This unveiling is coming just six days to the car's world debut scheduled to take place at the 2020 Geneva Motor Show, March 3.
Naijauto gathered the AMG GLA is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine which has previously featured in the A45 and CLA 45 model, as well as the same output and torque.
Let's see what the specifications say about the model.
The engine delivers 382 HP (285 kW/387 PS) and a torque of 354 lb-ft (480 Nm). It is mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and all-wheel-drive system. There’s an AMG Torque Control which helps to distribute power between the front and rear wheel. The high-performance car can run 0-60 mph under 4.3 seconds. Top speed is electronically limited to 155 mph (249 kph)

It came with a 4-link rear suspension, McPherson strut design at the front aluminum wishbones, one trailing arm and three transverse control arms. The AMG adaptive dampers are there to let users choose from three modes so as to suit their riding preference. Standard braking for the GLA 45 includes 4-piston front and 1-piston rear calipers, perforated discs.
On the outside, Mercedes adorned the 2021 GLA 45 with front and rear bumpers similarly shaped like it's crossover brethren, prominent quad exhaust pipes, roof-mounted spoiler and a big grille with vertical slats. The looks are completed with 19-inch wheels, unique badging and black accents.
