Despite the COVID-19 crisis, popular Japanese automaker – Honda, has just rolled out a special edition 2021 model of its popular Pilot SUV. This hot new car comes with all the bells and whistles expected in high-end autos nowadays. The 2021 Honda Pilot (Special Edition) SUV is now the latest trim in its lineup that offers popular options.

According to the latest reports, this newly unveiled Honda Pilot comes with the following average starting prices excluding a ₦434,000 ($1,120) destination charge;
- 2-wheel-drive layout – ₦15.1million ($38,960)
- All-wheel-drive layout – ₦15.9million ($40,960)
The reports also stated that this new Special Edition SUV is now available at Honda showrooms just like the rest of the 2021 Honda Pilot models in its lineup. Honda offers the EX-L mid-range trim as the base model for this new SUV, which makes it cost ₦232,500 ($600) more than the regular EX-L. Some of the notable features of this new SUV includes;
- 20-inch wheels (with black finish)
- Roof rails
- Rear and Front skid garnishes
- Foot-activated power tailgate
- Wireless phone charger
- 9-speed automatic transmission (standard for all trims)
- Dual-zone automatic climate control (from base LX grade upwards)
The interior of the new 2021 Honda Pilot (Special Edition) also comes with more tech features that are enticing
A more detailed report reveals that the lowest trim level for this new Honda Pilot is the LX (2WD), which carries a starting price of ₦12.5 million ($32,250) and an EPA-rated fuel economy of 20/27/23 for City/Highway/Combined. And the highest trim is the Black Edition (AWD), which comes with a starting price of ₦19.4 million ($49,920) and an EPA-rated fuel economy of 19/26/22 for City/Highway/Combined.
