New reports claim that customers would now get a more affordable entry-level trim of the 2021 Cadillac XT6 luxury SUV which features a nice 4-Cylinder engine and huge price cut.
This is a new development that contrasts the previous 2020 model which was offered with only a 3.6-Liter V-6 engine that pumps out 310hp and 271 lb-ft of torque. The new entry-level trim of the 2021 Cadillac XT6 luxury SUV will feature a 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that puts out 237hp and 258 lb-ft of torque.
A new affordable entry-level trim has just been announced for the 2021 Cadillac XT6 luxury SUV
This new 4-Cylinder engine option comes paired with a 9-speed automatic gearbox which can as well be paired with an optional AWD (all-wheel-drive) system for a ₦776,000 ($2,000) extra cost, speaking of which, the starting price for this new trim of the 2021 Cadillac XT6 SUV with the 4-cylinder engine is pegged at ₦19.1million ($48,990) inclusive of destination charge.
This price reflects a huge ₦1.9million ($4,700) cut when compared to the previous 2020 model which starts at ₦20.9million ($53,690) because the base trim featured a V-6 engine.
Just as expected though, the heavy price cut comes with a downside which is a reduction in the grade of equipment featured on the new trim. Even though there isn’t yet any official statement about the specifics, the cheaper trim level may be missing one or two of the below standard features expected to come with the 2021 Cadillac XT6 SUV’s luxury trim;
- 18-inch alloy wheels
- 8-inch infotainment system
- A tri-zone climate control system
- Brushed aluminium trim
- Heated leatherette seats
- Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (should come standard on all trims)
- Expanded colour palette (Wilder, Infrared Tintcoat, Dark Moon Blue Metallic)
