The refreshed Honda Civic Type R has improved interior and exterior features
The Civic Type R is not a newcomer. It has been around for some time now as one of the automaker’s top-selling models. To freshen things up, Honda had to re-work both the exterior and interior of the vehicle to give it a better look. Paying attention to the vehicle’s performance, the automaker revamped its brake rotors and brake pads. The new instruments are better than those installed in the outgoing model. Also upgraded was the suspension. It now has dampers that make driving the vehicle smoother than ever.

The vehicle’s engine is still the same 4-cylinder 2.0-liter turbocharged present in its predecessor. However, users now have the liberty to make a choice from three different driving modes to suit their individual driving tastes.
In terms of exterior, the vehicle has a better outlook, thanks to practical changes made to it. The front grille is larger in size for the engine to cool off better. Honda has the steering wheel well-covered in Alcantara for a more appealing look. Its shift lever was modified for shorter movements in changing gears. The automaker’s peculiar safety feature “Honda Sensing” is now offered as a standard tool.
