Among the newly debuted cars this week, the new 2020 BMW M2 CS model really thrills us the most here at Naijauto after a whole year-long of seeing several spy photos here and there online.
The 2020 BMW M2 CS is finally here with way more power than the M2 Competition
This new BMW M2 CS is powered by the brand’s turbocharged S55 inline-6 engine that outputs 444hp (327kW) and 406 lb-ft (550Nm) of torque – a whopping 39hp (29kW) more than that of the M2 Competition model.
This engine is paired with two available gearbox options, which include either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The automatic transmission setup achieves a Zero-to-60mph acceleration in 3.8 seconds – a mere 0.2seconds quicker than the other manual gearbox setup option.
The 2020 BMW M2 CS beats the road at a 174mph top speed as of currently released specifications

A larger portion of the body of this new 2020 BMW M2 CS has more CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic). BMW used this material for the vehicle’s rear diffuser, hood, rear spoiler, roof, front splitter, and exterior mirrors; thereby reducing the overall weight of the car.
The interior is well treated with plenty of Alcantara and leather, which pretty much covers the dash and centre armrest. You can watch a quick review of this new BMW “baby” in the video below;
