Audi is definitely among the top 10 on our list here at Naijauto comprising the best auto brands of the year 2019 and they have just stunned us again with the recent debut of their RS Q3 and RS Q3 Sportback crossovers.

The newly debuted 2020 Audi RS Q3 and 2020 Audi RS Q3 Sportback are now officially the two new flavours of the long-awaited performance crossovers offered by the German luxury automaker for customers that wants a more rugged and yet hot hatchback.

2020 Audi RS Q3 and RS Q3 Sportback – Power and performance

These two debuted models are both powered by an updated variant of the Audi 2.5L turbocharged 5-cylinder engine that outputs a massive 394hp (294kW) and 354 lb-ft (480Nm) of torque. This remarkable power helps both crossovers to achieve a 4.5seconds acceleration time from zero to 62mph (100k/h) and a standard 155mph (250k/h) top speed. Audi also provides and an option for customers to have this electronically-limited top speed bumped to 174mph (280k/h).

Meet the new Audi RS Q3 and Audi RS Q3 Sportback – your rugged and hot Audi hatchbacks are finally here!

Both of these crossovers have their power running through a 7-speed gearbox connected to an AWD (all-wheel-drive) system. Also, the entire powerplant of these new crossovers now comes with a crankcase made of aluminium that helps them shed an impressive 18kg (39.68 pounds) of weight. In fact, the two vehicles also feature a hollow-drilled type of crankshaft that also helps them cut extra weight as well.

Audi also provides a black tailpipe trim that is included with an optional RS Sport exhaust for customers that are enthusiasts and wants more aggressive engine sound.

Both the RS Q3 and Sportback version comes with 394hp and 155mph top speed that can be bumped to 174mph

2020 Audi RS Q3 and RS Q3 Sportback – Exterior and Interior Details

On the outside, you can visually distinguish these two new crossovers by the gloss black mesh of the body-colour grille surround feature. You can also instantly spot their revised front fascia that now includes bigger inlets in the vehicle corners as well as each side of both cars having blade-shaped accents.

When you take a look at the back of both crossovers, you will notice a large pair of exhaust pipes with oval shape emerging directly from both vehicles bumper as well as a roof spoiler with gloss black paint.

Also, when you hop inside both crossovers, you will get to see the beautiful sport seats that come in a fine mix of Alcantara and Nappa leather with optional blue or red contrast stitching also available for customers. And Audi also provided the Virtual Cockpit Plus optional package that sort of enlarges both vehicles display of the digital instrument cluster.
