A remarkable over 171,000 units of BMW vehicles were delivered only in February

For BMW lovers here on Naijauto, the company has released an impressive 171,000 units of vehicles last month in February. Due to increase in its sales in January, especially considering the selling landmark made by its sedan, a change-over model, the BMW 3 Series release into the market experienced almost a 4% reduction in February which still totaled at 171, 501 units across the globe.

According to Pieter Nota, one of the members of the BMW Board of Management in charges of sales and brand, made it known that the company had concerns over the imminent impact of the change-over in the sedan model and there was expectation for a low turnover. However, he said that with the production of the BMW 3 series, which already had a fantastic media review, public interest through order and is already being dispatched to the showroom. Pieter also made it known that the car was showcased with other models recently in Geneva, Switzerland, with the new additions of 4 plug-in hybrids. This, he said will give the company increasing sales throughout the year.

BMW 3 Series electrified variant and the hybrid plug-in were showcased at the Geneva Motor Show. This also included the BMW 7 Series, BMW X3 and X5. Later in the year, the BMW 5 Series and BMW 2 Series will also have the opportunity to be installed with the fourth generation hybrid plug-in technology. The company already has a reputation for being at the top of the chart in hybrid technology. With this BMW i3 Series, the company is venturing massively into electric powered vehicles.
