Some celebrities weren't born with a silver spoon. Zlatan is one of those who hustled up to the top from nothing. Check out his inspiring story along with pics of the first car he won in a singing competition!

Popular Nigerian Singer, Zlatan Ibile, took his followers on Twitter down memory lane before the wealth and fame came along. The internet sensation who buys the latest cars at the snap of the finger disclosed that it was not always rosy. He got his very first car at the age of 19 after winning a singing competition tagged “One Mic.”

According to the message posted by the “Zanku” crooner, he did all manner of menial jobs including bricklaying and cutting of grasses. He also earned a meager salary of ₦10,000 working at a Cold Room in Ikorodu – a suburb in Lagos.
