Fast-rising Nigerian singer Portable has been making the headlines for quite some time now. One might say he is the most talked-about singer presently in Nigeria. His popularity isn't necessarily the success of his music career but different troubles he has been connected to recently. According to a new report getting to us, Zazu Portable's aide recently used his car to crush an Okada rider to death in Ogun State. The singer's aide hit a motorcycle rider with his Range Rover SUV in the Iyana-Ilogbo area of Ogun State. It was reported that his aide was the person behind the wheel and was running errands when this unfortunate incident happened.
The okada rider gave up the ghost in the hospital after he was hit by Portable's car
The tragic event was made public by Portable’s manager via a phone call. The manager identified as Theresa revealed that the victim gave up the ghost after he was rushed to the hospital. Theresa, during the phone conversation, stated that she was the one that sent the driver on an errand that led to the loss of life on the road. The manager added that the bike man rode towards the car thinking Portable was the one driving and wanted to beg him for money before the accident. She explained that she left Portable after she got a call about the incident. From her statement, she paid ₦25,000 for the victim’s hospital bill after he complained of back pains. The two female passengers on the bike did not sustain any injury from the crash.

Singer Portable's manager said she gave out an additional ₦8,000 to charter a cab to where an X-Ray was going to be done before informing the Divisional Police Officer and Commissioner of Police about the recent incident. Theresa claimed that after she heard of the Okada rider's death, she informed Portable's driver to report himself at the police station. According to her, Portable’s aide is presently at the station.
