A talented Nigerian man identified as Ibitoye Michael has become the “talk of the town” after a short viral video showed the moment he was seen test driving a unique car which he made from scrap metals. Many reliable media sources have also been publishing several reports that give more details about Ibitoye Michael and his unique locally-made car.

According to media reports, Ibitoye Michael’s unique car is completely made out of several pieces of scrap metals and other parts that he sourced locally here in Nigeria. The reports claim that the car is powered by a 1.6L Volkswagen petrol engine paired with a transmission system that has 4 gears.

Media reports also stated that Ibitoye Michael said it was his lifelong dream to build the very first car that he will ever drive. He was said to have been working on the car project since 2018 till now with very little to no funding at all. As a matter of fact, Michael told some media correspondents that ever since the COVID-19 outbreak, he had been writing letters to several people to ask for help with funding his little project.
During a media interview, Michael reportedly said that one of his wishes, for now, is to travel overseas to study mechanical engineering because he would love to gain more knowledge in the field.
