Still on the Xenophobia uproar; we have just received new reports here at Naijauto that the popular Nigerian Airline company, Air Peace has publicly announced that it will be offering a “Free of Charge” flight to help bring home all stranded Nigerians from South Africa.
Our reports have it that; Ferdinand Nwonye – the ministry of foreign affairs’ spokesman made this known in a public announcement of Wednesday 4th of September 2019. In his announcement, he said;
"The ministry wishes to inform the general public that following the recent unfortunate xenophobic attacks on foreign nationals, including Nigerians in South Africa, the proprietor of Air Peace Airlines, Chief Allen Onyema, has volunteered to send an aircraft from September 6, 2019, to evacuate Nigerians who wish to return to Nigeria free of charge.
“The general public is hereby advised to inform their relatives in South Africa to take advantage of this laudable gesture.
“Interested Nigerians are therefore advised to liaise with the High Commission of Nigeria in Pretoria and the Consulate General of Nigeria in Johannesburg for further necessary arrangement.”

Nigerians stranded in South Africa amidst current Xenophobia attacks should take this Air Peace's offer as a lifetime opportunity
According to this announcement, Air Peace is offering the “free flight” as a means of evacuating all Nigerians stranded in South Africa that wish to return home amidst the rising Xenophobia attacks.
