New reports confirm that Mrs. Kafayat Oyetola, the first lady of Osun state recently shared free fuel, food, and face masks to some selected commercial tricycle (Keke Napep) and motorcycle riders as palliatives to ease their burden during this period of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The selected beneficiaries were reportedly chosen from OSCOMORON – the official association of “Okada” riders in Osun state.

In a bid to support citizens of Osun State amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, the first lady of the state who is also the president of “IleriOluwa” Development Initiatives reportedly gave out palliatives to tricycle and motorcycle riders during the last weekend.
Com. Tijani Sikiru who was the Coordinator of the palliative sharing event reportedly confirmed to newsmen that the beneficiaries were properly selected through their association’s local government chapters. Com. Tijani Sikiru also mentioned that the free fuel was from the wife of the governor as a form of support for the Keke/Okada riders with promises that the gesture will soon be extended to other beneficiaries in other LGAs across Osun State.
Official press reports state that thousands of people have already received free nose masks while only 200 beneficiaries have received the complete palliative package in Ede town and only 350 in both Ikirun as well as the Irgbiji area of the state. The complete palliative package includes not just nose masks alone but also free fuel as well as numerous food items like rice, beans, noodles and etc.
