Media sources identified the deceased lady as Jennifer Omoerere Ubiri, a final-year student at the University of Port Harcourt. She was the worldwide vice president of the Urhobo Students union (NUUS) before her death.

Jennifer Omoerere Ubiri’s life was cut short in a fatal road crash that occurred on the night of Monday 21st of June 2022. Reports claim that the accident happened at the Opokuma junction, along the popular East-West road. The young lady was reportedly coming from Bayelsa State and heading to Port Harcourt city in Rivers State when she met with the accident. As of the time of writing this report, Ishokare Ishaku Emuejevoke Justice – the president of the Urhobo Students Union has confirmed the news. He said that the entirety of Urhobo Students worldwide is mourning the death of their viable union vice president.

A certain Facebook user revealed that Jennifer Omoerere Ubiri had already spent 5 years at the University of Port Harcourt. It is quite unfortunate that she was met with the unfortunate incident just at the point where she was about to finish her schooling. It was learnt that the young lady got burnt to death alongside other passengers of the vehicle she was travelling in. May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
