A shocking report from Sokoto state claim that a certain lecturer of Usmanu Danfodiyo University recently lost his life in a ghastly car accident which also claimed the lives of his wife and two kids. This news has been quite a devastating one for the friends and family of the deceased lecturer as many of them recently took to social media to mourn his demise.
This is Malam Tajuddeen Musawa, the Sokoto varsity lecturer who recently died with his wife and two kids in a car crash
The deceased varsity lecturer was identified as Malam Tajuddeen S. Musawa and he is said to be active in the Department of Nursing at UDUS as of the time of his death. Press reports claim that the deceased lecturer hails from Katsina State, and he was actually travelling home with his family to attend the funeral of his grandfather when the crash occurred. The unfortunate twist of fate led to the death of the lecturer, his two kids and his wife, Zainab Abubakar on Saturday 24th of April 2021.
According to media reports, the news of the lecturer’s demise was later announced on Sunday 25th of April 2021 by the management of UDUS via a Twitter post. The university confirmed that he was a senior staff of the College of Health Sciences in Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital as at the time of his death. The announcement of his demise has really taken the university by shock as many staffs and friends continue to mourn him on social media.
