Quite a number of auto experts and automakers believe that Flying cars are the future of automobiles and this belief has so far been fueling a lot of innovations in that line over the past few years now.
One such innovation is Turkey’s “Cezeri” flying car that recently completed a successful test flight for the very first time. What’s more interesting about this recent success of the “Cezeri” flying car is the fact that it is entirely engineered and designed locally in the Republic of Turkey.
Locally engineered and designed “Cezeri” flying car in Turkey makes a successful first test flight
In the appropriate technical view, this “Cezeri” flying car is actually a quadcopter that comes with VOTL (Vertical take-off & Landing) capabilities as well as a seat for one passenger.
However, media reports claim that the Cezeri had no human passenger inside during this recent successful test flight but was rather flown at several feet from the ground level via remote control.
According to media reports, this amazing Cezeri flying car was produced by Turkey’s Bayker Makina with Selçuk Bayraktar, the Son-in-law of the country’s president, being the technical director of the project.
Selçuk Bayraktar thinks that the flying car might not become a regular transport medium in Turkey anytime sooner than 10 to 15 years from now. But he does believe that the Cezeri could actually be adopted for recreational purposes in 3 to 4 years time in rural areas.
