Elizade Motors and Toyota Nigeria (TNL) Limited donates 3 brand-new Ambulance to Lagos State Government for fighting COVID-19.

The fight to curb the deadly Coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria is one that does not leave anybody out. Recently, Toyota Nigeria Limited (TNL) together with its foremost distributor, Elizade Motors, donated 3 brand-new ambulances to support the government of Lagos state in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.

When donating these vehicles to LASG, Chief Michael Ade Ojo – the founder of Elizade Motors and Chairman of Toyota Nigeria Limited said;

“Covid-19 is a vicious virus that is presently ravaging people all over the world. Everything humanly possible must be done to quickly contain the pandemic”.

“The government needs the support of all well-meaning Nigerians and corporate organizations to fight the evil scourge and all hands must be on deck”.

“TNL and ENL will continue to support the government in any endeavour that will positively impact humanity”

Similarly, the Managing director of Toyota Nigeria Limited – Mr Kunle Ade-Ojo said;

“the gesture is in recognition and commendation of the continuous effort of the Governor, His Excellency, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his indefatigable team to contain the spread of the virus”

Mr Kunle urged Nigerians to obey the government orders as well as all recommendations by the World Health Organization in curbing further spread of the deadly COVID-19 virus. Some of the other important individuals present at the presentation of these 3 ambulances to LASG includes;

  • Mrs Bukki Ogunnusi – Leader of the Public Relations team at Toyota Nigeria Limited (TNL)
  • Dr. (Mrs) Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu – the current first lady of Lagos state (2020)
  • Mr Tayo Ayinde – Lagos state Chief of staff (2020)

During the presentation of the ambulances, Dr. (Mrs) Sanwo-Olu expressed her sincere appreciation for the kind gesture of TNL and Elizade. She also encourages other large corporate organizations to contribute their quota in helping to fight the deadly coronavirus disease that has taken Nigeria and Lagos state by storm.

Talking about contributing to helping the fight against the coronavirus disease, the Federal government has also begun to share food and stipends in poor areas of Lagos state. See the press video below covering the process:
