Toyota Hilux has gained its reputation as one of the best light commercial trucks on earth and the model will be celebrating its 50th birthday this month.
Unveiled in March 1968, the model was introduced as a new bonnet-type truck. The development and production were carried out by Hino Motors Limited. The model is considered the descendant that embodies the essence of both the Light Stout and Briska. At first the model was intended to be made in a truck format.
Hilux has always been ready for any road challenges. Aside from it, Hilux is also a credit to its owners in terms of safety.

Toyota makes the Hilux to be durable, strong and incredibly prepared for performance on even roughest roads. The Toyota round-after-round test on its vehicles can attest to it. A test was even taken in the volcanic areas of Iceland to prove the Hilux's toughness.
