Toyota, through its commitment to happiness of its customers, is set to start the production of vehicles that will turn themselves off by 2020 in case you forget. This will help save lots of energy, then money for car owners. See more details below!

Toyota products with equipped push-button ignition will start turning themselves off after they have been left at the parking lot or some other places for a long time. In any case the driver forgets to push the “Engine Off” switch.

The automaker, Toyota, will be putting this shut off feature of the engine as an additional feature to most of the cars that will be produced in 2020.

Starting from 2020, Toyota is putting an end to driver's forgetfulness in properly turning off their car's igntion

It has been noted that it is easy when using hybrid cars to leave their ignition on. This occurs due to the fact that the petrol engine doesn’t run in hybrid models, hereby making it pretty difficult in knowing whether it has been shut off properly or not. When it fails to shut off, after you leave the car, the engine will resume work and cause drainage in the battery. This could also happen in cars that are not hybrid because of the introduction of very quiet engines, which could be confusing even when they are idle.
