It has been noted that it is easy when using hybrid cars to leave their ignition on. This occurs due to the fact that the petrol engine doesn’t run in hybrid models, hereby making it pretty difficult in knowing whether it has been shut off properly or not. When it fails to shut off, after you leave the car, the engine will resume work and cause drainage in the battery. This could also happen in cars that are not hybrid because of the introduction of very quiet engines, which could be confusing even when they are idle.
