Over the weekend, the Osun State FRSC confirmed that three persons survived a horrific car crash. The shocking incident reportedly occurred along the Ikire-Ibadan expressway on Saturday, October 29. Mr Paul Okpe, the sector commander of FRSC in Osun State confirmed the incident in his recent public statement. Press reports claim that the FRSC boss issued the statement through Mrs Agnes Ogungbemi, the Public Enlightenment officer of Osun FRSC.
Three persons recently escaped death in a horrific car accident that happened in Osun State
According to the Osun FRSC boss, this incident happened on Saturday at about 8:45 am within the Asejire bridge which is 2 kilometres from Ikoyi junction. A certain Orange-coloured commercial truck reportedly lost control and ran off the proper highway track. The truck which has plate number ABG 266XF was said to be driving at a high speed when the incident occurred.
Mr Paul Okpe, the Osun FRSC sector commander confirmed that three victims were involved in the recent horrific car accident in Osun. Two of the victims escaped unhurt while the last victim survived with a severe injury. The FRSC boss confirmed that the police operatives from Ikire Divisional police unit came to tow away the crashed truck. The policemen also took time to clear all forms of obstruction on the road.
Meanwhile, the Egbeda unit command of Osun FRSC took the injured victims of the crash to a nearby hospital. Also, the Osun State FRSC boss took the opportunity to warn motorists against disobeying traffic laws. He declared that the FRSC would never spare anyone caught violating road traffic rules and regulations henceforth.
