Disruptions caused by the Coronavirus pandemic forced American automaker, Ford to postpone the debut of the 2021 Ford F-150 truck initially slated for May 11 this year. While we were still doubting whether the wait will be longer, the automaker recently announced June 15 as the new date for the official debut and it will start accepting orders by July 15. So, what should you expect from the new truck that will be revealed soon?
The anticipated 2021 Ford F-150 truck will now break cover on the 15th of June this year
There have always been several arguments about just how strong the popular Ford F-150 truck is. A good demonstration of the unbelievable strength of this popular truck model played out sometime last year when a ridiculous accident occurred in Florida involving a Ford F-150 truck dragging back a tow truck. Even though it was an improper incident, we could not but gush over how powerfully the Ford F-150 fought back and almost overpowered the tow truck.
2021 Ford F-150 – What to expect?
The 2021 Ford F-150 is currently the latest model that will lead the F-series truck lineup into its 14th generation. It's rescheduled to debut on June 15 but due to many rumors and confusing claims, we have decided to highlight some of the notable features we are sure of. Here they are:
- Claims of a possible 4.8-liter engine are false. Instead, a 5.0-liter engine will be offered alongside 3.5-liter and 2.7-liter EcoBoost V-6 engines. Also, a 3.3-liter aspirated V-6 engine will come standard and a 3.5-liter Hybrid EV option will truly be available.
- The much-anticipated F-150 electric or F-150 EV will not be added immediately but instead later on
- The cabin will really impress you with an all-digital instrument cluster as well as a touchscreen infotainment system that runs the SYNC 4 (latest).
