In the wake of recent criticisms on defective autopilot as many would prefer to say considering the many crashes, the latest stunt pulled by a female owner at Shanghai Auto Show night might turn out to be a big nightmare for Tesla's PR team. From a report, the angry Tesla Model 3 owner decided to protest against the faulty brakes on her EV at the ongoing auto show in China.
Female Model 3 owner staged a one-man protest against Tesla's brake issue at Shanghai Car Show
The woman reportedly approached Tesla's booth at the Shanghai Auto Show, climbed on top of a Model 3 car on display while wearing a shirt with 'brake lost control' in the Chinese language. This video has since gone viral on social media.

For what appears like damage control, the security guards swarm around this woman and attempt to cover the message with umbrellas. The woman, on the other hand, was having none of that as she got hold of those umbrellas and threw them away while shouting 'Tesla brake lost control’. She was eventually taken off the roof of the car and escorted away from the booth.
According to Tesla, the woman in question has a reputation for staging several protests against the company's brake issue. She was seen live streaming on a similar problem before reaching out to Tesla's booth. The security guards had to come in after failed attempts to get her off the roof of the display car.
The angry woman claimed that four of her family members were almost killed by a defective brake on a Tesla Model 3 in an accident. In their defence, Tesla revealed that investigation shows that the driver assistance system and brake worked well during the crash and the speed before braking was 75 mph. Tesla further disclosed that they offered to help and even suggested a third party check the car, but the owner refused and insisted on returning the car to them.
