Tesla Model S ranks among the top 10 modern muscle cars of 2020 in Edmunds’ new list
Anyone familiar with the top 10 coolest American muscle cars of all time will never even imagine that an all-electric car like the Tesla Model S could ever be rated among the top muscle cars. However, we must mention that these days, muscle cars are hardly even a “thing” anymore, which makes us not so surprised that Tesla Model S made such a list.
When the automotive resource website, Edmunds, was responding to critics questioning the ranking of the Tesla Model S – they replied that the all-electric car model is impressively fast, roomy, and attractive. And before you argue that muscle cars usually come with loud, large, fuel-guzzling engines; we should quickly point out that new Ford and Chevy muscle cars now come with fuel-efficient and moderate engines as standard. This is excluding the fact that Ford is even releasing a fully-electric Mustang crossover soon. So, it’s more like “Goodbye” to all angry gas engines and “Welcome” to all-electric moderate engines in fast cars.
