State government donates 12 new cars to police in Akwa Ibom State

In the time when there is high level of insecurity in the country, Nigerians are fearful of their safety and there has always been a prompt need for these security outfits to be properly equipped. There has existed a static and mutual feeling towards the police force in the country due to their imcompetence and bribery nature.

However, we cannot fail to recognize the efforts of some police officers who have put their lives on the line to protect the citizens and serve their fatherland to the last drop of their blood and sweat. One of the ways of helping the under-equipped police units across the nation is to invest in them by supplying modern securitizing gadgets to help secure the peace of the entire state. This is why Naijauto team is excited to ease your fear and bring to your attention that in Akwa Ibom, South-south Region of the country, four brand new vehicles were donated to the state police by the state government to improve security especially safety of lives and properties in the state.

The Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Udom Emmanuel, who got elected into political office during the 2015 guubernatorial election under the platform of the Akwa Ibom State People Democratic Party (PDP) vowed to improve the condition of security service in the state. This came into manifestation recently during the presentation of those brand new vehicles, which he commanded prompt distribution of those vehicles to the Uyo police division as part of the first phase.
