Can you guess how much Nigerian Senators will be getting as their allowance for cars purchase in this new Buhari tenure? The total budget for senators' cars goes up to ₦5.5 billion, believe it or not? Check more details below!

Naijauto has just gotten a new report claiming that the current 9th Senate has budgeted a whopping ₦5.5 billion for themselves as car purchase allowance. This literally means that each of 69 current Nigerian senators will receive a ₦50 million lump sum to acquire new cars for himself/herself.

Believe it or not, the 9th Nigerian Senate will be spending ₦5.5 billion on purchase of cars alone

This new budget is approximately 15% higher than the ₦4 billion spent by the 8th Senate under the leadership of Senator Bukola Saraki – that had each senator purchasing a brand-new car worth ₦36 million each with two extra cars added.
