Without Naijauto spelling it out; anyone living in Lagos can easily testify that the condition of most Lagos roads is just disappointing. It becomes even more annoying when people realize that several lump sums of money meant for the repair of these same bad roads have been misused by many of the previous Lagos governments. However, under this new rule of Governor Sanwo-Olu, things are looking different with possible major improvements.
Governor Sanwo-Olu is not just approving money for road repairs but also personally inspecting the job done now!
It is worth noting that most of the dilapidated roads we now see in Lagos today are resultant of the Ambode-led administration’s neglect of road rehabilitation across the state. But thanks to the new Sanwo-Olu administration for making this crucial issue a first assignment which it has now duly executed with all seriousness.
As a matter of fact, Governor Sanwo-Olu signed his very first executive order just as he was mounting office and part of this order has since given the LSPWC (Lagos State Public Works Corporation) the directive to begin patching and overall rehabilitating all bad Lagos roads.
Lagos Governor, Sanwo-Olu takes some time off his busy schedule to inspect ongoing road repairs in the state

The executive order by Governor Sanwo-Olu has clearly resulted in an aggressive road rehabilitation work by the LSPWC ever since it was given. However, seeing the Governor physically inspecting these road repairs is remarkable because it gives more confidence to Lagosians that the road rehabilitation work will be surely executed properly this time around.
Sanwo-Olu does not inspect road rehabilitation works on paper alone, he goes to the sites to inspect by himself
Will Sanwo-Olu finally help fix all bad Lagos roads? We all have to wait and see for ourselves.
