Naijauto gathered that the tyre of the bus which was conveying 43 passengers, including the driver burst as the bus was crossing the bridge in the Zabaikalsky region.
Two helicopters with the medical team were dispatched to the scene to rescue the victims. Reports say the bus was heading to Chita, east of Moscow.

An investigation has been opened by Russia’s investigative committee to ascertain if the cause of the crash was a violation of traffic safety rules. Many road accidents in Russia have been attributed to alcohol, failure to obey traffic rules and bad roads.
