From a new report reaching us, Morgan De Sanctis, who happens to be the director to the Italian club side As Roma, is presently in intensive care from a ghastly auto accident last Tuesday in the Italian capital. The Roma executive’s car was believed to have overturned at the time when he drove close to the EUR business district.

From what we learnt, the former Italian goalie was taken quickly to the hospital after he was involved in the road crash on Via Cristoforo Colombo in Rome. As a result, the spleen of the 43-year-old was removed during the operation that was carried out on an abdominal Hemorrhage. This removal was to prevent internal bleeding that could lead to other complications.

Fortunately, De Sanctis’s surgery was successfully carried out and he is presently in stable condition. He is understood to be conscious as we speak. The director is expected to stay at Gemelli Hospital on the outskirts of the capital for the next 24 hours. This will give the doctor ample time to assess him.
