Have you seen the two iconic Rolls-Royce luxury cars that the New Emir of Kano, Ado Bayero will inherit as he ascends the throne?

Everyone has been talking since Tuesday 10th of March 2020 after the Kano State Government announced the dethronement of Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II as the Emir of Kano due to insubordination and other accusations. He was reportedly driven out at about 5:36 pm in a black-painted SUV from the Kano palace that Tuesday evening.

The new Emir is the son of Alhaji Ado Bayero, the 13th Kano Emir who gave up the ghost in the year 2014. Also, this new Emir of Kano was actually the ruling Emir of Bichi before Kano State Governor, Ganduje chose him to replace Sanusi Lamido.

Now, just as with all former Emirs of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero will also inherit an iconic fleet of beautiful Rolls-Royce cars present in the royal garage. See the cars below;

1. 1952 Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith

There is a beautiful Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith of 1952 model in the Emir of Kano’s garage that was said to be originally owned by Nubar Gulbenkian, an Armenian-British millionaire. This luxury car was reportedly purchased from the millionaire by Abdullahi Bayero who is the grandfather of the new Emir Aminu Bayero.

The second Rolls car in the emirate garage is a Rolls-Royce Phantom VI that is now 59 years old as it is just one of only 374 copies ever made between the years 1968 and 1990.

This special Rolls-Royce model is bodied as a cute luxury landaulet or limousine and also based on the popular Phantom V.
