It is clear from the reports that Julius Berger company has been heavily reconstructing and rehabilitating the 375.9km dual carriageway that spans from Abuja to Kaduna, Zaria, and ends in Kano.

According to media reports, Julius Berger has adopted an innovative methodology called cold recycling in the construction of this important road project.
Similarly, the construction company is reportedly constructing all three sections of the road simultaneously in an impressive manner that helps them deliver a “value-driven” solution. And as for the cold recycling methodology – it is a revolutionary solution that involves recycling the actual milled-off pavements directly to make a bitumen-stabilized material that is eventually used for paving the new road’s base course layer.

It is kind of surprising that Julius Berger construction company has achieved this much progress on the road project considering the fact that it recently got several backlashes by lawmakers alleging that the project is going too “slow”.
The dissatisfaction being expressed by members of the National Assembly is probably resulting from the failed promise of Julius Berger executives that the road project will be completed in just 3 months.
