A recent astonishing report claim that a certain policeman and 4 other persons narrowly survived a horrific car accident in Bauchi State. Press reports identified the police officer as Inspector Zubairu Yusuf of the Jigawa State police division. He was said to have narrowly escaped death alongside four other passengers in a car accident that occurred in Bogoro LGA, Bauchi State.

This horrific incident involved a Honda Civic saloon car which had the plate number BKD 12 SB, Jigawa. Eyewitnesses reportedly claim that the car accident was actually caused by overspeeding and reckless driving. It was reported that the Honda driver was unaware of a certain roadblock that was mounted on the road by JTF in the area. The driver was said to be driving at high speed when he suddenly noticed the roadblock and tried dodging it. His attempt was unsuccessful and that led to a loss of control that resulted in the car crash. Reports confirmed that the Honda car hit the signpost of a secondary school and also an electric pole in the area. It later crashed into one provision shop before it could come to a final halt.

The Joint Task Force in the Bogoro LGA of Bauchi State has confirmed the recent car crash in which a policeman and four others survived. In fact, the JTF also revealed that the policeman was heading toward Plateau state with some other passengers when the crash occurred. Similarly, a member of the JTF confirmed that the driver of the vehicle was indeed driving at a very high speed when the accident happened. He described the survival of the passengers as a narrow escape “from God”.
