It is no news that the Acting Chairman of EFCC, Ibrahim Magu has been recently suspended over allegations concerning the misappropriation of public funds.
He has become the “talk of the town since the report of his arrest started making rounds on social media and other media outlets. A recent press report has also surfaced a few days back confirming that police officers working with the FCID (Force Criminal Investigation Department) have now sized two of Magu’s official armored vehicles and sealed his office.

There have been several occasions over the years when EFCC recovered scores of vehicles from suspected yahoo boys, fraudsters and corrupt politicians under the leadership of Ibrahim Magu.
Unfortunately, the table has turned recently and the EFCC chairman himself is currently under investigation for alleged corruption and money laundering cases.
To make matters worse, he has now been suspended while policemen have recently impounded his official bulletproof cars which were reportedly recovered in Borno state and Abuja. Reports claim that these armored vehicles have been moved to the EFCC headquarters while several investigations continue at the Presidential Villa.

According to the latest press updates, Ibrahim Magu’s office at the EFCC headquarters in Abuja has also been sealed by detectives who stormed the building recently and barred all other staff from accessing the 10th floor on which Magu’s office is located.
The suspended EFCC boss is currently under investigation for alleged misappropriation of ₦700million that was supposed to be used for the training of a certain number of EFCC staff.
