The 2017 Peugeot 301 Midlife sedan won the Nigeria Auto Journalist Award this year.

Peugeot 301 Midlife has just been awarded the 2017 Nigeria COTY (Car of the Year) which was held at the famous Eko hotel, Victoria Island Lagos by Nigeria Automobile Journalists. The winner edged out other formidable rivals, namely Kia Rio and Nissan Almera. The glamorous event was attended by industry bigwigs, major auto dealers, and other stakeholders.

The Midlife is the upgrade version of the 2016 Peugeot 301, which also won the last COTY award. The car, which is locally assembled, boats its affordable price, comfort, and safety. Moreover, the 2017 Peugeot 301 sedan owns the contemporary appearance, well-equipped body, reliability and other great values that is adaptable to in Nigerian terrains. The sedan now becomes the most preferred vehicle by local drivers thanks to the advanced engine called Pure Tech Engine it receives this year.

The Nigeria Auto Journalist Award is the local automotive industry award organized by the Nigerian Auto Journalists Association (NAJA), a group of Nigerian professional automotive journalists. The Award is the recognition of the industry manufacturer’s achievement in various categories.
