An officer of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Mr Adebimpe Kehinde, has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Lagos for alleged passport racketeering.
Acting spokesman of the commission, Mr Tony Orilade, disclosed this in a statement released on Thursday, July 18, 2019, at the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja .He stated that Kehinde was arrested together with other 14 suspects when the commission swung into action after receiving intelligence reports.

Names of the other 14 suspects related to passport racketeering nabbed by EFCC this time include:

- Sunday Adekunle
- Lola Kadoso
- Adeola Oluwafikayomi Ajiboshin
- Adebayo Damilola
- Abubakri Adebayo.
- RaphEmekaIbuaku
- Uka Ifeanyi
- Henry Onyebuchi
- Christy Odey
- Ogunmefun Oluwanishola
- Aba-Peter Blessing
- BusayoBalogun

Some of the suspects arrested by the EFCC
According to Orilade, some items including mobile phones, 5 laptops and a number of official documents were retrieved from the suspects following their arrest. He further stated that all of them would be charged to Court upon completion of investigations.
