Nigeria’s very first car manufacturing company, PAN Nigeria Ltd recently bagged the “Best New Auto Entrant” award for its locally-assembled Higer bus and Ambulance models. The local automaker won this new award in the category of commercial vehicles that are currently available in the Nigerian auto market.

Media reports claim that Bawo Omagbitse, the GM of Planning & Strategy at PAN Nigeria Ltd received the new award for the Higer bus and Ambulance model on behalf of Ms Taiwo Oluleye – the Acting MD. The award was given to PAN Nigeria Ltd during this year’s Transport Day celebration ceremony in Lagos. The local production of these Higer buses was said to have birthed 2 years after the Chinese Higer bus company Ltd and PAN Nigeria Ltd entered into a partnership.

In case you don’t know, PAN Nigeria Ltd currently produce the Higer Ambulance, Higer H6C (19-seater), and Higer H5C (16-seater) models in Kaduna. These locally-assembled models are particularly perfect to be used as School buses, ambulance services, and commercial mass transit lines. The Higer bus models pack amazing features like USB Charging ports available for each passenger and impressive headroom as well as legroom space for passenger comfort. Similarly, the bus models come with a 15-inch LCD display with DVD support and other features such as a rear camera, park assist, and many more.
