Despite the increase in suspected and confirmed cases of Coronavirus infected persons in Oyo State, some rebellious residents still found time to gather in mass at clubhouses to have fun. This action led the state police task force to carry out a special raid operation on the night of Sunday 29th of March 2020, during which a total of 22 luxury cars were impounded.

There was no record of any arrest made however, many vehicles were impounded and crowds were dispersed as the clubhouses were forcefully locked down.
