Many Nigerians that have travelled abroad can testify that on their first visit to places in advanced nations like Dubai, U.S.A and the United Kingdom must have been marvelled at the gorgeous structures of airports, bus stations, train stations and the likes.
Such amazing architectural “wonders” do not only contribute to tourism but also counts as part of the things which makes a nation classified as “developed” or fast-growing.
Our attention was recently drawn to one of such gorgeous architectural projects in Lagos that many people in other parts of Nigeria do not even know about. Yes, it’s a new bus terminal located in Oshodi, Lagos and it's worth being passed the ears as a wonder.
At first glance, many Nigerians would doubt if this bus terminal is truly located in Oshodi, Lagos
Going through the websites of many online media outlets, we were able to not only confirm that this bus terminal is still functional but we also found numerous photos that captured the beauty of the bus terminal. Media sources claim that this Oshodi Transport Interchange currently runs 3 different bus terminals that are open to commuters moving between Berger, Obalende, TBS and Oshodi areas of Lagos state.
For those who do not know, Oshodi – the area where this beautiful structure has been erected used to be home to pickpockets and street urchins in the past. Thankfully, people have recently confirmed that all of such crimes has reduced drastically since the Transport exchange/ bus terminal became operational.
This amazing project was commissioned last year by President Muhammadu Buhari during the administration of former Lagos governor, Akinwumi Ambode.

The Oshodi bus terminal is currently ranked as the biggest in Lagos with adequate facilities to ease the stress of commuters
