In the light of the car theft allegation levied against popular Nigerian singer Iyanya, he has decided to keep mute as directed by his lawyer.

From Naira Marley to Iyanya Mbuk. It looks like car theft allegations against celebrities in the country are growing and causing concerns among Nigerians. From the latest reports, the popular Nigerian singer, Iyanya, was recently arraigned before an Igbosere High Court, Lagos for alleged car theft.

Popular Nigerian singer Iyanya is set to reappear in court for allegedly stealing a car

The popular musician in the light of this allegation pleaded innocent of this crime and was later released to his lawyer, who was charged to produce him in court for the next hearing. From the look of things, Iyanya seems a bit calm despite the lawsuit filed by Temple Management Company Limited, his old allies.

Prior to the marked charged sheet of LD/9024C/2019, Iyanya was reportedly accused of converting a car to his personal use.

The singer while responding to this allegation, said:

“The case is in court and I can’t talk about it. Only my lawyers can talk about it. It’s a legal matter. You’ll hear from me at the end of the day but I have to follow my lawyer’s instruction.”

Iyanya has been advised by his lawyer to keep quiet on the car theft allegation as the case continues

So far, no statement as at the time of this new has been released but we learned that the singer took to his social media account, lamenting how people are always eager for bad news.

He wrote:

“You all like bad news.”
